An Intoduction
Hello! I’d like to start this blog by introducing myself. I’m brownhairedgirl and I’ve been a Taylor Hicks fan since way back when I first saw him perform on American Idol, over 2 years ago. So much has happened since then that it seems like an eternity. I’ve seen Taylor Hicks 8 times in concert, purchased all of his cds and supported him through his extemely successful journey as the Teen Angel on
Broadway. Now as he goes into hiatus and things slow down a bit in Taylor land, I want to make a place for all enthusiastic and positive Taylor fans to come, kick up your feet, and have a good time. My goal is to make this blog fun, informative and open to discussion. As we in Taylor land know, there is always something going on or some sort of drama or rumors flying. I would like to have a place to talk openly about any and all of the things that make being a soul patrol member exciting at times, yet exasperating at other times.

I too have supported Taylor since his first appearance on AI. There are alot of us out there. Looking forward to the next tour!
I am silverslipper. A girlie girl who loves Taylor Hicks. What a great time in his career to have a new blog to discuss his upcoming CD. Possibly a tour. Oh, come on, definately a tour. Jazzed and getting those butterflies because it is in the works and we all know how creative he is. This time, his own way, which makes it so special.
Welcome SS and nutty. I’m looking so farward to the next tour I can hardly contain myself. There is nothing that beats a concert and especially a Taylor Hicks concert. I can’t get my fill.
I’ve loved Taylor since the minute I saw him on his audition. I always felt he was a “real” musician and I still feel that way. I’ve never expected a thing from him, so I guess that’s why I’m happy with everything he’s accomplished. He looks very happy. Way to go Taylor!
Welcome Smarty! I know exactly what you mean. I feel the exact same way. Just to think of what Taylor’s life was like 3 years ago I bet he never thought he’d living in a great apartment in New York City. Those pictures in Ok magazine just blow me away. Have you seen them? I’m so happy for Taylor and all he’s accomplished and I know there’s going to get even better as the years pass. I hope all of his dreams come true.
Hi brownehairedgirl! I too have loved Taylor from the beginning. When he opened his mouth I knew that he’d be successful. Artists like him don’t come along too often. As long as he sings,I can go see him, buy his CD’s and support him in a positive way I’m happy.

I don’t want to miss any of the news or views about the Soul Man. “Grease” won’t be in Portland until April. That’s a long time from now but I’ll try to behave myself until then. But sometimes a girl’s just gotta do what a girl’s gotta do!
