This is the best and funniest interview I have ever seen! I love it! She is totally flustered and fangirlly doing while interviewing Taylor. I know we in the Soul Patrol can relate that feeling. When Taylor Hicks is in the same room a woman loses her abitity to think straight. The guy just has ”it”. I thought it was great that she asked him such unique questions and really enjoyed Taylor’s answers. Lola is fun and funny and I have become a HUGE Lola fan!
I thought it was really cool that she gave him that Ray Charles to bring with him on the road.

That was such a great interview. It’s funny to see someone like Lola fawning all over Taylor like we do. She did really well considering her role in having to ask the questions. It is NOT EASY when looking at him.
It was a very exciting interview and Taylor looked really handsome in the blue on blue shirt. Always like that color on him, actually I like ANY color on him. Why? Love him and his music!
Taylor doesn’t need a couch anymore, he wants his own tour bus. Hope his dream comes true, he deserves it! GO Lola!!

HICKS: I’m in Costa Mesa, Calif. My run is through June of 2010 for Grease. My recordThe Distance is out, and my new single, “Seven Mile Breakdown,” is being released in a few days.
Do you all have many fans overseas?
HICKS: I don’t know if you guys have traveled to Southeast Asia; they love Idol. Like the Philippines, Malaysia. I did a tour in Southeast Asia for about a month. They were tripping out. They were asking about y’all. They keep up with Idol and the contestants religiously, even in India. They’re big fans of the show. I was actually in Jakarta doing Asian Idol, which is like the Asian version of American Idol.
Do you ever read about yourselves online?
HICKS: Sometimes. Not all the time, though. I think it’s best if you stay away from that monster.
Why do some Idols come off the show doing better than others?
HICKS: The measuring stick should not be, for all of us, in terms of record sales but what we do over the span of our careers. I think the media gets so caught up with the here and now; for all of us this is just the beginning of our careers.
TAYLOR, did you see Simon give an interview where he said you weren’t a star?
HICKS: Um, somebody told me about that.
Why is he still picking on you?
HICKS: I think he likes to get a rise out of the American public. He gave me a standing ovation on the show, which blew me away, and [afterward] the show was very complimentary about the song and the direction I’m going and the look.
TAYLOR, you get underwear thrown at you?
Hicks: Yeah. The last tour I did in the States, we collected maybe 2,000 pairs of panties.
[Sparks: I hope they were clean.] LMAO.
HICKS: I dodged and ducked every single one of them.

Apparently, that’s not uncommon IF its Taylor Hicks! You saw from the very experienced radio personality, LOLA, that she was flustered in front of our fabulous Taylor…OH yeah.
I was lucky I suppose, in that I’m really extroverted (no kidding?) and not at all shy when it comes to maybe interviewing Taylor? I would do it and in fact have spoken to him several times. Not that I wouldn’t BE impressed by him, I have and I am.
I had the opportunity to talk to him for about 10 minutes in Mobile, AL before he left for the concert there. We were standing outside his hotel, by his bus, with two bodyguards (in the background) and I reached out and shook his hand, standing right in front of him, welcomed him to Mobile. He was extremely handsome, more so even than he was at Smiths Olde Bar in Atlanta (I was standing in front of the stage, while he performed.) -In Mobile, I did ask him questions and he answered them.
Also on a radio call in show, I was one of the fans who was on the phone for the question and answser session. OMG…that was REALLY fantastic. I barely recall what I said, LOL, but I have it downloaded, HA. It was great to speak to him again, he said he was nervous and I said I was too and I laughed and he did too, along with the station manager, LOL. Great fun. After the concerts Cbb and I atteneded (quite a few) and the book signing, we did talk to Taylor and each time was more special than before. He’s VERY astute, quick, funny and serious at the same time. I can see why he has so many women in love with him. He’s just so… deliciously Taylor.

HAPPY TAYLOR HICKS DAY!! May 16th is THE day. Taylor actually has two days proclaimed to being Taylor Hicks Day in Alabama. May 12th and May 16th! Hey, one is just NOT enough.
TAYLOR HICKS DAY –
Survived the BB-Q, tried the Ostrich didn’t care for it, hubby wouldn’t even give it a try. They had the regular BB-Q hambugers and hotdogs lots of salads. They had which I never had before grilled Romaine lettuce with Caesar’s salad dressing, it was very good, hubby tried that. It was very nice affair, the rain held off until 11:00 then all hell broke loose!!
Yeah right before we left I read he was singing the Anthem at the game.

BHG, It was in strips like chicken tenders, they were marinated the taste was ok just a bit chewy, don’t know if I’d try it again! Yes it was very nice.
Hubby has me all day working on his flyer, the little one got annoyed with him and told to out campaigning and leave us alone to finish it. Its almost done just have to insert the photos, don’t know where he left the CD with the photographers pics. Won’t take long to insert the pics.

Before the day gets way too busy…I want to VENT. LOL. Before the fact, thank you for hearing me out. Thank you to this blog owner for allowing it. I feel its very important. IF you want the name of this subject, then I can email it to BHG.
There is a certain blog on the internet which annoys the living heck out of me. I think you girls know the one? The subject is TAYLOR and WHY this and WHY that? Today the owner of THAT blog is complaining about none other than Taylor and has HE forgotten THE MUSIC? Sorry…Ahahahahahahahahahaha! I had to laugh, seriously, I nearly ended up on the floor.

What is UP with this woman blogger? IS she THAT dense or just revved to insult him every freakin chance she gets? I would say all of the above. I heard this woman blogger IS married? Jeanni, I hear you, I said it will be interesting to see how many “fans” stick around now that he is doing Grease through June 2010. Are they here for him to do what they want or follow the man’s career choices? His music brings me joy, whether he has to take a few side roads to get to where he wants to be, thats fine by me. Movies, Broadway shows, touring doesn’t matter to me as long as he is happy and it is good for him.

The fan issue? Its my personal opinion that the media for instance is very criticle of people in the music industry. Sorry to say to, that the media which we read online mimics one another. There are VERY few original articles where they give the REAL truth about WHAT a REAL musical career REALLY is.
Its SO apparently that American Idol’s products are highly critizied by the media IF they don’t come up to their standards of WHAT they THINK is a successful career? And what is that? AI, who has fabricated this myth, along with the media and then people like the blog I was talking about see ONLY one way to be successful and they believe it is ONLY in radio play and CD’s sold, aka chart spins? Well, is it? I say NO NO NO and NO.
A long term, all around career in the entertainment business is not one sided, but an ALL around performer, like who? TAYLOR HICKS. I won’t talk about the other AI winners and losers and what they do, but I will talk about one of them and not by name either. I never see that guy ANYWHERE. I see that his songs are spun an unnatural amount of times on the radio and his label brags about his CD sales, but WHAT and WHERE is this guy? You all know who I mean. Why can he not go SOLO on HIS tour? IS he touring? How come he made VERY little compared for instance to Taylor during his solo tour. The OTHER guy did not even come close. How is it, that this other guy can sell MILLIONS of CD’s, but his tour gross was NIL? Does this make sense? Why is he not performing in front of THOUSANDS of his adoring fans? WHY not. SOLO? He should be, IF he is selling that many CD’s? Makes no sense and that is what I would call a one sided career. NOT long term. He can be replaced because HIS voice sounds like too many others on the radio today.
Taylor wants an ALL around career, if he did not, then he would not be venturing out into other area’s of show business. He said its NOT a sprint, but a marathon. He wants to try what he can to see where it takes him, while he is YOUNG and he IS young.
Grease has provided him with stability in a country where it is not stable. Financially, the country is in dire straights. ANY consistantly steady work in the entertainment market is VERY wise on his part. He is on TV, he is very visable, he is in the news…We see him and hear him in interviews and etc., whereas, the others we talk about, like the one above, are NOT visable.
I think Taylor is a savvy guy who knows that a steady income is truly important and it IS for his business. HE is the record lebel. He IS working and I can’t understand all the drama from so called fans? People who constantly bicker over him and critique ALL he does and WHY he does it, while publically embarrassing him, well…I think its awfrul, its mean and its cruel and yes, its harmful to Taylor. I’m really fed up with those people and those type of negative topics.
FINALLY…Its my opinion that either we support him or not…either we enjoy him or not…either we are FANS are we are not…

BRAVO to Lola, she gets it and isn’t afraid of saying so. The fact is, this IS her BUSINESS and she knows THE business. SO glad she met Taylor Hicksz…because once you actually meet and speak to him as SHE did, then allthe gates open up wide. Taylor is very unique. He’s so far removed from the TRASH on the radio today, he is VERY talented and extremely handsome…the combination is LETHAL.
This is one reason I would LOVE to see Taylor in film, he’s just got the goods…oh yeah….:)
Jeanni, Totally agree he has said from day one he wants to be an enertainer. An enterainer does more than one thing they branch out into other venues just like he is doing. Whatever he needs to do to attain what he wants I’m all for it. I’m not here to second guess his life choices those are his. I just enjoy all he has to offer.

If I were in the entertainment business today, I would pray to have a fan like you. Thanks girl for feeling the way most NORMAL fans feel about Taylor. This is what its really all about, ENJOYMENT. We enjoy Taylor Hicks. Why s that concept so difficult to imagine?
I absolutely could respond to the blog aforementioned in my FIRST VENT above. However, it wouldn’t DO any good on Taylor’s behalf nor on mine. I too enjoy the man. I too do NOT enjoy that blog nor the bloggers who harm him personally and YES, they DO.
I was glad to see an old friend of mine who just responded over there (THAT blog). She worked with me on the radio requests right after Taylor won Season Five. We also discussed at the time a HUGE problem for Taylor and that was and IS today…SIMON COWELL. Taylor is very gracious about him, he has to be, I DO NOT.
Sadly, a drama freak such as Simon, (even as knowledgeable as he can seem) does a great deal of harm to people. He has caused Taylor undue grief and humiliation from his VERY public insults of Taylor and his winning AI. He insulted Taylor, he was demeaning to Taylor on AI, by his crude comments. Other than his hateful comments TO Taylor about his singing and yes, his stage presence, he literally caused the press to have a feeding frenzy. They STILL do today because of SIMON and TPTB from AI. I daresay those bloggers would deby it, many people do, but I believe it, there’s too much proof to ignore otherwise.
ALL the bad press came from (of all things) American Idol, the label and the management, topped off by the mean spirited comments from Simon Cowell.
I’ve read Taylor’s book, I’ve also heard Taylor’s audio book. He was gracious about Simon and that’s why Simon KEEPS doing it, its called being a BULLY. Simon is a bully.
Sadly, the AI contract makes it known that they can lie and ruin a contestants reputation, both professionally and personally and not be held responsible. SO I suppose Taylor did the ONLY option he could do, he FIRED their asses. I say, GOOD for you Taylor. However, they failed to do their part in his contract, so they deserved to be fired. Its my humble opinion that he did the right thing…however, Taylor is paying for it in spades. This is AI’s pay back to him. Anyone who doesn’t agree with these facts can deny it because its out there just for the asking.
I’ve since read more from THAT blog… of whom Taylor most likely would include in his description of a MONSTER. Yes, it is. The owner has broken down all the walls to the point of NOW going for Taylor’s jugular all because he will continue with Grease? OMG.
Jeanni, Like I said here and over there he needs to do what works for him. i’m seeing more comments defending/understanding what he is doing with Grease. People realize there is more to Taylor then just a guy who has a great voice, he captivates the audiences of Grease each night, not many have that capablity. He is showing there is more to him and he wants the opportunity to show what he can do.
I know Idol did alot of harm to him over the past 3 years. To me Simon is evil, look what he is now doing to Susan Boyle he is trying to control her every move, her family is not liking it at all.

Agree with you. Yes, as much as I truly believe Simon is a very attractive and astute businessman, he is a controlling bully whose “say so” on American Idol held weight and the press, TV and etc., listened to him!! He wasn’t alone however, the entire American Idol machine, which included the label bunch and management were DOWN on Taylor and in turn, DOWN on his fans. Taylor has never publically said anything about Idol other than compliments and thanks. So, he has nothing to worry him in that regard. I feel VERY sorry for the Broyle woman. IF she has signed a contract, she’s doomed.
Here’s something I found interesting. I’m really glad they didn’t give his figures, but HE is listed. I know he has endorcements, appearances, charity events, celebrity events, along with his tours and Grease. I would have to say that Taylo9r has been very successful. We have NO idea who he talks to or what plans he might be making. He always has a surprise and I like that. LOL. Thanks.

Thanks Jersey, about to look at that video! Speaking of the figures for what Taylor made in what? 2008? I would assume it was for last year?
As fans, we all know, according to published reports, he made 1.5 Million in barely three months for his first solo tour, the final figure was far more than that… while for instance, a fourth place AI finisher who was also on that list made only 450,000 for the same time period on HIS tour earnings. The latter is very poor. Taylor’s was exceptionally high.
Did you notice how well Kelloy Pickler is doing? I was also not surprised to see how low Daughtry’s earnings were for all those reported sales? Wha??? That makes NO logical sense at all. How can he be this big time rocker, with all that radio play and all that touring (?) selling all those CD’s and ONLY make that amount? NO way. What did he get out of AI’s management and label, 1 penny per CD? Are they kidding? I wouldn’t doubt it AT all.
My google alerts took me back to the earlier remarks I had made about a blog’s discussion on what else? Taylor Hicks. While visting there, I noted some really smart women writing what I would have. I hope they take her message to heart, because she nailed it. This is Taylor’s decision to do what he thinks is right for himself. He’s a young guy whose accomplished his dreams, all by himself. The fans who enjoy him will be around while he is. I am one of those…so are you Jersey and I think all of us who are part of being on this blog. We care about Taylor and enjoy him, in whatever capacity. YEAH!!

That’s another story…my run in with one of those giant birds that wanted to get me. I had a knife in the car, a sort of box cutter from packing some boxes…while driving thru a safari type place. This animal tried to attack me, breaking my side mirror in an attempt to get me…broke it completely off. Brand new friggin car too. I complained to the management about it…they just stood there like they were thoughtless. I pulled out my box cutter and showed them what would have been used to cut the giant neck of this beast…then, they woke up out of their stupid gaze…and I got their attention. Glad it wasn’t in today’s time…I might have been called a terrorist. LOL.
My one son in law returned from Afghanistan recently…I think I told you all. The new son in law is on his way home. YIPPIE! Two week excursion to get back to the USA…he said that he is gonna kiss the ground. God is good…many prayers were his protection. Even though he is tough as hell…those monsters over there are drugged up hellions. Never safe there. Would be nice to get ahold of their drugs…and spike it with LSD…hahahaha…hey, that would be a great ploy to bring them out of their sandtraps and caves. Can’t you just see it? The taliban tripping out…and seeing all those supposed virgins and thinking they were in heaven…and getting their brains blown out by our troups while they revealed themselves in their tripping out frenzy! No way…too cruel, ROFL…if it was up to me…I would kick um in the balls and hit them in the head with a tire iron. Make um talk? Can you imagine someone dating a woman, making a video of her…trying to ruin her relationship with Tay…then, never taking up for her while all the MONSTERS lied about her…treated her and Tay like crap…defamed them, well…we will just say…etc on that one…AND…then have the gall to write that he wants to MEET her? As far as MONSTERS goes…Taylor put it well. They pop up in google alerts…get their rocks off on smartass remarks…if they really feel the way that they say that they do…then why are they so interested in him? It was always about the whole package…one of which they are to ignorant to understand. Doubt seriously if Taylor cares what age a person is that buys his CDs…comes to his concerts…or admires him. That would make him ignorant. Of course, those of us that have been to many concerts know that there are a mixture of ages and types of people there…but…even if it were just middle aged women that adored him…like as in Elvis’s days… I would imagine it would not matter one bit… as someone’s appreciation for them is greatly accepted as I have seen in Taylor. He especially appreciates those youngsters called “CHILDREN” that he admires, has given gifts to…and spends more time with. He also doesn’t discriminate about those with special needs…but, treats them with respect. He is not a hypocrit. If Taylor wants to start a rap band…so be it. He can make any kind of music sound good. He has already made it folks. He will continue to make it. He is a celebrity. He is famous. He has a zillion blogs and fansites about him…and him alone. He has made a great deal of money. He is someone that has my respect…and isn’t a prude yet isn’t a slut puppy. He could have grabbed cazillions of women and had one night…scuze…twenty night stands in one night…but, he doesn’t. I am glad that he is finally getting comfortable enough to let some of that sexiness come out more…it takes time. Elvis had it. Taylor will be talked about in a negative way because he is all of the above. Best part? Those MONSTERS can’t do a damn thing about it…but bitch. I really do try to stay clear of that place because I truly believe it causes severe brain damage in a good share of the people who go there. Yikes! I don’t want to risk that. She did say something interesting though, maybe Taylor is trying to purge himself from some of the crazy fans..well that is a good point and what a better way to get rid of them than to do exactly what they don’t want. Do you think they have it in them to stick around and whine and complain for another year and a half. I’m hoping not.
CBB, Thanks for your kind words. He has been out campaigning door to door and the responses have been overwheleming favorable for him, so I am hoping that it is good sign come primary day. I always try to keep my comments as to not offend anyone, I’m here to enjoy the man, his music and career. Not to discect his every move. No one is inside his head and knows the reasons behind his moves. I’ll leave that to him, he is a very savvy businessman and knows where he wants to be and the roads he needs to take to get there. I think he is doing a great job!

Jersey…way back…I decided to let people know on TOSP that we were indeed sisters. I thought that it would be a good thing. I did take up for her and not any more than anyone else when all the chrolls and trolls bombarded us with hateful comments about Taylor…which you see hasn’t stopped…but, they got this idea to use the sisters remarks quite often in a sarcastic tone meaning that we couldn’t think without each other. We quite enjoyed ticking them off with our signoffs on our messages online to each other…as “YOUR SISTA”…THEN…the mod of all mods…who should have been in diapers…would delete us…said WE were being this or that…she was also a troll. I found that many that were owners of fansites really don’t like Taylor…were in it for the mula. If you are ever interested…check out TOSP…the ads…omg…and they tell the people there to hit the sites alot so they get money. Just unbelievable. Fraud…baby. I had pms from the moderators and the webmasters/owners…and they told me they were not in to Taylor. Most of the mods had not even seen Taylor…and you know they got free tickets…The angels made sure if you did not have a ticket or could not afford them…then you got one. It was all such an eye opener. Pretenders. I started finding things out, figuring things out…little by little…and that is when the ones that were power hungry got mad at me…I had their number. Several things…I truly believe and this is only my opinion, but I think one fansite in particular were being paid by AI or TPTB. It was NOT a true fansite for Taylor Hicks. Almost everyone left…I warned the administration of it…but, heck…they knew it all…now you see them begging for money to stay afloat. It is really embarrasing…of course, not to them…they don’t see it that way. They have a lunatic that demands that people give money. I saw something really sad…a disabled woman that was a dedicated fan…and had lost her job…in a wheelchair…just sweet and innocent…and she gave part of her last paycheck. SICK. I believe you are talking about MF being Ruff Ruff, always thought he had somehting to do with that place. Well…Adora who was the owner of TMS wrote me several pms…and she was a Claymate. Told me that she wasn’t really into Taylor. Of course, seems I wasn’t the only one that knew that. She ran other websites, supposedly. That’s just one example…I was shocked. TMS of course, stood for Taylormade soul. So…go figure…and I donated to the site…before I was ambushed by the mods from TOSP…and an alleycat and a few others. They wrote all the mods there and told them BS lies about me. Got me off on the wrong foot. I even told friends that had pm’d me after realizing who I was…I went under another name to escape TOSP…and their vengance. Especially the one with the mustache. She immediately joined TMS after I did. Followed me around. There was a way on both TOSP and on TMS where you could see where people…members…were and on TOSP you could see what they were doing. Like…writing a pm or looking at a certain thread. I would go to a thread…then click over…and they followed me. I would quickly go to another thread…write something and then the one with the mustache…haha…would write a pm to the biggest bitch troll member on the whole site…then she would write back…to the mod. Then, I would get smartass remarks or deleted. It was pathetic. So…when they found out that I was under a different name on TMS…the hounded me there. My first pm was from the alleycat…and she demanded that I not ever respond to her or else. I sent it to Adora…told her that I knew I was being setup…of course, Adora talked out of both ends to make both side think she was on each of their sides…two faced, so to speak.
You just would not believe it. I know others here that have quite the stories to tell of the sabatoge of our memberships and loyal fanships of Taylor. They thought that you could bitch about him, make fun of him…or anything about him…and be a loyal fan. Called it…a right to an opinion. So…I went to the Chris Daughtry thread…and gave my honest opinion of him…and got deleted. Nothing bad…just said…I don’t like a screamer and he isn’t attractive to me…saw him live…and I think he didn’t win because he wasn’t the best. Something like that. But…if one of the trolls said that Taylor wasn’t singing good or they didn’t like his song, hair, clothes, girlfriend, hell…what he ate…and the harrassing went on and on…they were allowed to write it. Then, when I responded and said that I disagreed…that I thought most of the posts were getting google alerts and that I thought negative talk would not be good for him and future fans. Loyal fans should not say negative things about him and some were quite ugly…and then, I was deleted…and warned to be banned. Just a hint of what happened when, as stated…the ceiling started to crack.
Aaron’s photo was on MF’s blog. He had his own name for a blog he did…Yoda…how appropriate…haha…then, it was the same photo on Aaron’s myspace…Jeanni caught that. When she copied and pasted and then showed it…that was all I needed to know he was involved. Of course, he immediately took that photo off MF and off his myspace. We had them copied though. HAHAHAHA…so, people can think what they want…but, he is still in a fixation with CL and I do believe that he was the culprit. Most narcissist are clever like a fox…not meaning smart but sneaky…however, they also carry the trait that they are too smart to get caught and also that they are above it all. That everyone is too dumb.

When all that started, the MF blog, most all of Taylor’s fanbase were shocked. NOT that he went on a well deserved vacation and with a woman, but that a so called “blog” began BECAUSE of his being on vacation and in Hawaii.
The first big accusation for the owner’s of MF was, “SHE set it up with the photographers so that SHE could get publicity.”..Whoa. Say what? That was total BS. It just so happened that when ABC’s, The Bachelor had a HUGE press conference, it was located WHERE the Bachelor lived. Where did he live? HAWAII. I saw the photos of HE and the woman (Tessa) that he picked in the finals. There are photos of THEM on the SAME beach where Taylor and Caroline were photographed. It is my believe that Taylor chose a place where he can CL could be alone of course, without prying eyes. I seriously doubt he ever thought that the islands there were packed with photographers from around the world. IT WAS. I think they were scrouting the beaches and saw Taylor Hicks. You can’t miss him!
Nevertheless, it is also my opinion of which I freely give, that due to the fact that CL EX refused to comment to the press, but chose instead to have HIS father speak for him (huh?) that he was ANGRY with her. I saw on his myspace page, which was published on the Internet blogs, that his visitors who commented were SOUL PATROL names I had seen on various foums. That was WAY strange to me. I do recall the screen names and also know they were posting on MF.
Frankly, its pretty simple. CL wanted to BE with Taylor Hicks. AR wanted CL back. I think she probably didn’t tell her EX where she would be that weekend and he found out the hard way. I think the creator of MF had helpers, MANY of them and they contacted AR to get privy info out of him to use against her and TH. It was all really a v ery scary invasion of privacy. Many of the posters who went to MF were part of TH fan sites of which I belonged to. Today, many of these same posters are on very well known blogs on the Internet and they continue to bad mouth TH. its so freakin mean and criminal.
As for the person known as AR? The proof was so obvious, it didn’t take much to figure it out. His myspace was dedicated TO him. He is what Cbb said. He even admitted that he followed her around the country. He’s very visable on the Internet and his YouTube vid’s are published and frankly, I found them inappropriate and very very strange. He also poses as Yodaknowz, with a photo, which matched a photo of himself from his own myspace, that one has disappeared though, LOL. FTR, there was overwhelming evidence the photos of TH and CL on the beach in Hawaii were legit. Of course, MF claimed not. He claimed the woman Radar hired, *cough* saw THE PHOTOS [those photos were actually not original but were from MF himself, hahahaha] was not CL but another woman of whom never came forth. That one was really ODD wasn’t it? Oh I could go on and on with this one, but its a waste of time. The MF blog is no longer online. The remains of it are. How CL has withstood all she did and has, is beyond me. However, just reading one blog on the net in particuliar proves to me that certain people will stop at nothing to ruin another psrson. Its VERY sad and VERY disturbing.
We are fans of Taylor’s as you said. We just enjoy the man and his career. When we see blatant lies about him, we speak up, I have, Cbb has. And as Cbb said, I do believe there was a puch by TPTB to harm TH professionally. Taylor is very resourceful and he has inner strength. NO, I am not a pal of his, but a fan. Having observed him sinced he won AI’s Season Five, I have found the longer I am a fan, the more I admire him. Right girls? Oh yeah.

Jeanni, Yeah what they did was criminal, but Taylor took the high road and just ignored what they were doing. Awhile back I said that my daughter who wants to go into Forensic Science and also took 4 years of photo in Hs. A bunch of her friends from both classes looked at the pic’s of the so called Marine and CL, they immediately noticed that both women had something in common. Cl must have injured her pointer finger at some point in her life, can’t remember which hand but the finger bowed, the Marine same hand and finger bowed to the same degree. She said “Mom these pic’s were tampered with, they just photoshopped to make them look a little differrent but never caught the fingers being the same.” At that point I new the whole thing was just some disgrunted folks trying the defame the man. They picked up on a few other things that led them to believe it was the same person just the photos were tampered with.
Some folks just love to point out anything negative with him which are very few incidents and highlight them, left my opinion on that. With all the positves about him just don’t get it!!!

Well, that was very interesting! Thanks for sharing that! I think had other fans done some invetigating instead of just taking that blogs word for it, they would have been FAR better off. But, they seemed to want to believe the worst, with nothing to back it up, NADA.
In one part of my business, I have photographers who I hire to do work for me. These guys ALL examined every photo that came off that blog. They concluded the photos from the original source were authentic and matched those of the woman from “the TV station”. For the record, they had no idea who they were looking at. They were given the copies of those photos from THE site that published them and then from the blog that made false accusations. That’s very interesting what you’all discovered, about the finger. My guys brought up numoerous things and they ALSO got a big laugh out of the woman Radar hired. Ahahahaha. It was so funny to me, because Radar would not admit that THE photos they gave their “professional” were not the originals from the original source. They were ALL from MF. Well, no more needs to be said, LOL. Oh and how DOES that guy and his lackeys sleep at night or at all? Geeze.
I honestly believe that the head of MF himself, did have his little “staff of low lifes”…. and it was pretty obvious. LOL. I was a member of TMS when one of them showed up on a major thread about MFOYA. Oh my Lawd, that was a nightmare happening. Then the head bro showed up. Mr. Narcissistic, “I’m much smarter than you.”…I just took off from work and watched the train wreck happen. It was obvious to me at least, that some on TMS were part of the MF movement. I had not been a member there for very long. I was invited there by several SP friends of mine who thought I should re-join it. I say re-join because actually, I joined it very early and then forgot about it after I got really involved with two favorite TH fansites…but…I joined EVERY single TH fan site I was aware of. At least four of those no longer exist. I enjoy TH fan sites that are truly a fan site FOR him. If not, then I’ve learned my lesson and won’t waste my time. After all, just how many can we be a major part of? WOWZA.
Jeanni, Your right about folks just taking their word. I wasn’t posting then, but I bet if I had tired to put up what the kids found it would have never made onto the public blog. It was too damaging to what they were saying. My daughter looked everytime a new post went up at that site and could tell me if they were photoshopped and most were.
I just always felt it was such an invasion of his privacy to do that. What business is it of anybody’s but his who he chooses to spend his time with. I had read about the Bachrlor thing that they were at the same beach as Taylor and their photoraphers got the pics. I also remember the interview in B”Ham where he was asked about it and he said he had no idea his pictures had been taken until he saw them in Star and that he should be entitiled to a little privacy. He was not happy that those pics surfaced and the take Star put on it that he stole someone’s girlfriend.

CBB I remember what happened to you on TMS and also on TOSP. I know for a fact that it was a set up against you and Jeanni. When some of the SP members found the chrolls at TOSP and went in to set the mods straight about what they were doing they (Wmarine) with help from her side kicks BK and Notoobrite set out to get rid of us. They banned us simply for stating the truth which was that they were there to cause trouble on the site, but they decided to side with them over the Taylor fans.
Jersey that is intresting about your daughter wanting to have a career in forensics and what she found about those pics. BHG, Yeah I always thought their were a team of people involved in MFOYA and one might be a past girlfiriend. Some dropped hints that they knew things about him and then would slam him like a jilted lover might do.
My daughter loves science has always come easy to her. she watches every CSI show there is. She took a Forensic Science class in High School and absolutley loved it, those were the kids that did the picture analogy with her. They teach them to look for evidence everywhere don’t let anything get by you. A friend of my hubby’s works in the NYC Medical Examiners office and will be taking her in again this year as an intern for a bit, she is very excited about it, me not so much, murder victims and working with dead bodies just doens’t sit well with me. But she has to do what she see’s as her future.

Well…I turned on AI for the first time in a long time. I watched a little bit…and saw this guy with black hair and mascara in a suit that looked like he was from Mars. His voice? hmmmmm…he tried…I will say that…haha. Then, the other one that actually won…man, where was his voice? No comparison to Taylor by any stretch. I just love the way that Ryan Seacrest said that they have a record number of votes. LOL! Sure…they added more phone lines. DUH? There were plenty of times when I could never get thru to vote. Each year after so many were po’d about not being able to get votes in for Taylor…they increased the lines…and also made more numbers per contestant. Gee…guess that makes me a rocket scientist. These guys sucked IMO. Sorry for those that liked them or watched and enjoyed. KISS sucked. Also…what’s his name? The one that sings “All Night Long?” He needs to hang up his microphone. I used to like him but no my memory of him is tarnished. After the AI tour, he’ll TOUR himself, as a pimped up, advertised up, glorified by AI as “you see people, you don’t have to win”…freak and BOOM, another Daughtry. Look for him in your city and on your radio, cause they have alraezdy received his SINGLE and its been added to THEIR polay list by the Program Director. I bet HIS photo is EVERYWHERE. Wonder how many interviews he’s set up to make? Interesting and its gonna be fun to watch it. LMAO.
2. Since THEY picked ALL the wrong songs for KRIS (is that his name?) they thought that would DO him in, it might have, but didn’t matter, the DANNY and the red headed girl’s fans voted for Kris and NOT Adam.
3. The SOUTH voted and probably for KRIS, LOL Especially when AI began their tirade comparisons between Taylor and Danny which did not exist.

If his hair was blonder…maybe- and his clothes were better? I am not sure…just needed a spark. I think Kris has a nice voice, he was the quiet underdog throughout the season. His performances were always well presented. I think what it came down to was “trained talent” verus “natural talent”. Adam was trained to perform, Kris it just came naturally. Don’t think the vote had anything to do with Adam’s sexuality, if there had been an issue he would have never have gone as far in the competition.
BHG, Yes I saw Simon’s face he was not happy about the result. I’m sure we will hear America got it wrong soon. Last year the same thing when David C won over David A, but David C has proven him wrong and is doing well. David A on the other hand is not selling as well as I think they thought he would. He will be the next to be dropped by them.

I have said this in other places…but, if Taylor were not so special…they would have forgotten about him by now. The constant barrage of insults on google…just tell me that he is continuing to rise to the top. No one…including the news and reviewers…continue to discuss someone that is not hot. Who would care? So…looks like he continues to get more and more popular. I love that!
CBB, The insults are at an all time high right now. Since Kris Allen won it is one negative after another, just so sad. Took a look over at Splash just to see what they had about the Idol win. They show a picture of Kris, then the rest of the pics’s in the spread are of Adam. The poor guy hadn’t even been the winner for 24 hours and is getting ripped. The alerts are saying he will end up like Taylor, these folks have no clue what Taylor has been doing, if Kris winds up like Taylor then I’d say he did pretty well!!!!

Oh Jeanni…I mean, Jelly…hee hee…That was great to read. THE REAL SCENARIO. Saw a favorite movie of mine earlier tonight…with a special famous line in it…”YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH!” Well…some can’t…and some can. It was a pleasurable read.
I did not realize that Taylor has “perfect pitch” like I do. No wonder he plays all those instruments. Did anyone else know he had it? It is also called…”Absolute Pitch”. Listen, if any of you want to…there is a website where you can be tested. It was kinda frutstrating for me…cause I had to use my mouse to click on the keys…and I had the volumn up too loud. It is not only piano notes…but, sounds. Funny thing…when you have it…you can even tell who is walking in the house…who’s car pulls up in the driveway…you hear sirens before anyone else…if anyone is off key while singing, omg…you go nuts…and you can hear a song being played on the radio/cd or whatever…and know every single note and if you wish…go play it. I am so glad that Taylor shares this ability. Now…I “get” why he was never flat or sharp…and when people like Simon or Randy or Paula would say that…it used to irritate me because he WAS NOT! I would have known. Now, I know…he knew he wasn’t.
He just stood up there and smiled and took the crap. I was at home, irate and talking to the TV in disgust. Then…someone else would sing…*cough cough* and he would be OFF KEY and they would rave over him. Go figure, the tone deaf judges were not capable of telling whether these contestants were off or on…unless it was majorly obvious. Just goes to prove that Taylor has got more patience than any person I have heard of in such a long time. From the crap slung at him from media, ball busters, bad blogs and imitation fansites…he just stays cool.

Oh yeah, I knew that about Taylor! In fact, he wrote about it in his book, “heart Full of Soul”..Cbb, we listened to his audio book (which I also have) on the way back from the concert at Orange Beach…remember when he said…”I learned the Harp by listening to thunder, rain, wind, train sounds, sirens, anything that had notes, that’s how I learned to play songs on the harp.”….THAT was incrediable!
Hearing Taylor sing acapelia, well, that’s the biggest clue and as yu know Cbb, singing OFF key drives me insane myself, LOL. I also knew Taylor was perfectly in pitch when he sang on American Idol. It was that moron Simon and Randy who said Taylor was pitchy, what a load of BS. Ahahahahaha. Kelly Pickler was off key most of the time, sweet little thing. When I heard Daughtry at the AI concerts, I couldn’t believe he was even worst sounding than he was on TV. LMAO.

OMG..I am so freaked out. I live in the forest and keep finding wood tics on my wall and crawling up me..uggghhh! They freak me out. I have seen a lot of lymes disease here and I have the crawlies right now.
BHG, Wood ticks creep me out also, its that time of year. Hubby had one crawling up his back after mowing the lawn last week. We have real bad lymes disease numbers here, the deer have gotten so brazen over the years, they don’t even run when we come out when they are in my yard. I have a few that come up and sleep on my front porch!

I don’t care who knows my opinion of the garbage that goes on over there, I am SICK of it. Sick of THEM, sick of the hurtful slaps at Taylor Hicks. They have caused more harm to him than is even imagined. This is not a private blog I am talking about, but a very public one. Are they insane? I think so. There are a few who are truly fans of Taylor’s and know that what they write on that blog will HIT google and it WILL be used against him. How can the owner of said blog in all good sense, NOT realize this? Perhaps she does, that’s why her commentary has been SO harmful to Taylor Hicks. I find it inappropriate, harmful, hateful and disgusting. I don’t mind saying so either. I am fed up with garbage like that blog. Below is part of her commentary for one thread. GEEZE…What BS.
America has FAR more to worrry about than a show on TV that serves as ENTERTAINMENT for those who care to watch it. It is NOT nor is it supposed to be a political arena.
