Taylor Hicks #24 on Idol’s Sexiest List
I would beg to differ about the #24 and think he should clearly get the #1 spot but all the same this video is very cute!
Laura Saltman and Kimberly Caldwell said they think that the part that makes Taylor so sexy is his salt and pepper hair. I am a big fan of Taylor’s gray hair but I see that as only part of what makes him irresistable. I think the first thing that makes him sexy is his eyes that when they look right at you make a girl’s knees weak and renderes her unable to think straight..or maybe it’s just me. Also he has the long sexy legs when coupled with a pair of snake skin boots look so fine..then the best part he pulls out that harmonica and blows us away. Taylor Hicks has it all. He is the whole package..sexy looks, intelligence, southern charm, and most importanly a kick ass musician.
As usual, so many of these voting morons have NEVER met Taylor in person nor have they seen him in person performing whether on stage or in a shadow tour. Taylor Hicks is stunningly handsome, he’s tall, dark, silver haired, fit and has a wonderful sense of humor, his sultry accent, his voice and his mannerisms are so manly…making him a very sexy man whose secure in WHO he IS. Those people are complete dumbasses, especially when I see short, bald, nappy, homely men on that list. OMG, they have GOT to be freakin kidding me? Totally STUPID. All I have to say…
OFF topic, this was not surprising TO me…to read that TAYLOR still holds the record…UNTIL Taylor Hicks, a LOT of records were broken…BAD behavior from Taylor’s label and from Idol are the culprits regarding many issues. They owe Taylor more than anyone will ever know.

Right…No one has broken that record!! Taylor has accomplished SO much and had som many different honors…We know his career has been sonsistantly fast paced with two years of a solo tour, book tour, interviews and TV appearances and one year with the AI tour. All of it was interesting and certainly honorable…The only negatives was his then LABEL / Management and Simon Cowell. They were harmful to Taylor’s image and his CD sales / ratio play.
Yet Taylor said in a live interview that he had sold ONE MILLION and a HALF in sales (“Taylor Hicks”) so that figure of 750,000 was not accurate or only USA and not world wide. I won’t debate that, just stating what Taylor said in the interview which I heard.
ALL those silly TOP WHATEVER’S are full of VERY unattractive people. Taylor Hicks is movie star gorgeous. I think Jealousy and envy have caused the bias towards Taylor…there is NO other reason why he would not be NUMBER ONE. People Magazine thought so, when he was on the cover as the ‘Most Sexy Bachelor”….OH YEAH.

I was in a wedding…all weekend, lots of fun. But, I ended up barefoot…of course, after it was over. MY FEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The photographer took a photo of my barefeet up close…with the strap marks from my too high of heels left marks on my feet…swollen…omg.
It will go in their wedding album…LOL!
Two bands playing…one all women…what a bunch of fantastic rocker chicks. WOW! It was all outside in this huge gazebo and gorgeous grounds. Barefoot with pearls on. LOL!
Yep…Taylor goes without the trophy, so to speak, but we all know that he has done an incredible thing in the music industry. He has proven that you can still be REAL…and that you can also bypass those snakes in suits. He is laughing all the way to the bank. He is the type that doesn’t need the recognition…yet, he does have loyal fans that see him for what he really is. He will continue to gain fans…and their eyes will be wide open. Then…there will be those NEW fans that will jump on board the Taylor train and get bombarded by those mentally ill people that want to harass and bash him…and those that support him. They might need a valium or two if they are attacked. It is quite shocking when you realize that there are so many lunatics and hateful trash running around in this world. Just shocking. I remember when it started…the hate…and I just could not believe that anyone would waste that much time trying to ruin/sabatoge or try to undermine him. Then…I realized that there are so many sick people. I mentioned to someone that a police officer told me once that if I only knew all that went on in the world, I would never go out my front door…and I would hide away. So, it goes without saying, my eyes were opened and I find that they are relentless in their pursuit of bashing and trashing yet on the other hand, seem obsessed with him. That spells “Mental illness”…no one in their right minds would do this kind of thing for so long and with such drive and obsession. You can’t reason with people that are out of their ever lovin’ minds. No matter what you do/say…they don’t get it. You don’t speak their language…it is as if they have a missing chip. They are sorryass people that migrate together in their need for being accepted. I know that Taylor was shocked that this exsists…I was. It is a rude awakening. Bubble////////POP!

For the time I have been around I have seen/read alot. Many of these folks feel he owes them for some reason which I just don’t get. I am not part of his life, nor am I a part of his decision making. I am here to enjoy what he shares with us, no more. I am every happy with the little sneak peeks he gives us of himself. If you can’t accept how he wants to run his life/carreer then move on!

Jersey…there was a click. They tried to drag Jeanni and I into it. Just a few factions. They kinda went underground into pm haven. They did not like it if you were outspoken. We found out that there were PERKS…oh yea, baby…lots of um. Major good seats…most of those got front row seats. EVERY FRIGGIN CONCERT. We saw. Didn’t make sense. At first…we got some great seats at one concert from them…I think, 4th or 5th row back…and paid the regular cheap amt. Those seats were going for hundreds and hundreds…a piece. Also…there were meet and greets. Ah yes…every time. There were interviews. Backstage stuff. Problem was…none of them could get to Taylor…as in…he was not interested. Get it? Even those that thudded. Plenty REALLY did. I am serious. So…when he isn’t interested…you can tell it. He is kind…but, when some…omg…well, I don’t know how he stood it…and guess what? He didnt’ stand it. He got bigtime body guards…it wasn’t so easy to get to him…ON PURPOSE. Poor guy. I can tell you, if he knew…what I knew…he would never ever have spoken to a few people EVER again. He might know…who knows? Security? Yep, you bet.

Jersey…you are welcome. It is alot more complicated than that…and alot of hush hush things that went on. Some of the people were good people and good fans. Not all of them were like that.
The problems that became out of control…turned many people off. I even wrote the mods and one in particular that I thought was a friend. The one that has the Purple in her name…must have changed her pm from me…and sent it to him making it look like I said something other than what I actually said. I figured this out after a long time of trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together after he turned on me, but thought I turned on him. I didn’t. I was actually hurt. I really liked the guy. He kinda went off on me to a level that shocked the doo doo out of me…not in a pm but online in a thread. I said…”WTF?” So, now, I know that sabatoge was what she was good at. I did not know at the time, that you could change a pm sent to you…and then forward it with your version. It worked for her. She got what she wanted. She had the audacity to write me a pm and ask me if I wanted protection. Meaning that she had all this clout…and that she could save me from being banned and shunned. I told her NO THANKS. All along…she stabbed me in the back. I never wrote anything derogatory about this mod…and if I had wanted to say anything about him that wasn’t good…it would not be written to her. HAHA…no way!
You realize when this is happening to several of your buddies…people writing me and saying What in the world is going on? I just hate it when my best buddies left and never got back online. It turned them off so bad…and they were good class act people. I stayed in touch with a few thru emails…for a while…and then, I moved and changed internet servers and gee…there went my emails…which I tried to copy and forward but the movers were waiting and they cut off my internet before I could finish so…that’s the way the cookie crumbles.
Times were fun in the beginning. The way it should be. With the wonderful people that opened blogs…we were so excited…common bonds and also similar values with one main mission…DON’T CUT TAYLOR DOWN. We talked about his business, his girlfriends…fun things…another words…things that anyone would know. This tee’d them off…as it was taboo where I came from…and finally got my freedom of speech back. Trolls were never allowed to spew their venom and this was kind of an unwritten message and something we all felt important. Google alerts just from one person that is writing ignorant stuff…hits…and it looks bad for him. Just not what a fan should do, IMO.

I know the site you’re referring to CBB. The one manly woman mod at that place is a total piece of work. She actually sided with a bunch of troublemakers and trolls over actual soul patrol members on that site. Not the brightest bulb on the tree if you know what I mean.

It was about funny sayings. This friend of mine and I were on a roll…and then, we decided to write in another language. Anyone could go look it up…and actually…we both were going to write what it meant anyway after a while. I was writing in Latin in one of my last few. Handy language because you can say so much with so little of words. Anyway…the bulb you spoke of…got pissed. She was too stupid to look it up or even ask. So…she declared that the site demanded that all language was English. Even your sayings under your AVI…the whole thing. Well…that was pure discrimination because we had several people from other countries that would sometimes have to use their words…because they could not get across their thoughts. We had plenty that could translate…but, no more from this bulb. She was ticked off. WE…were just having fun, something she detested. So…I looked at her AVI and under it…her LATIN Marine logo. Dumbass. Maybe she pretended to be a Marine…I am pretty sure that most of them know that you have that as your moto and that it is in Latin. DUH? Dumb and dumber.

Hey…you bet…she is so excited!!! She is probably getting ready now and can’t sleep. She has been working on the apartment…making it look perfect. I bought them a HUGE flatscreen TV for Christmas…he hasn’t seen yet but knows about it…and…I bought them a sofa and chair and beautiful mirror. I took her to the sale section at Haverty’s…and there are tons of items. Her colors are aqua and browns in her LR/DR. So…she was lusting over this brown sofa. It was ……….well, hate to say it…but not so chic…but the whole thing was recliners but it was HUGE. She wanted him to melt when he sat in it…and relax…it was leather. So…I ventured off…and she would not get off the sofa for fear that someone would buy it. The store was packed. I just kept hoping that I could find a compromise. I found a sofa that was smaller and was a special order *color* and the people did not pick it up. It was smaller and the new fabric, suede like…micro fiber that feels like suede and cleans well. It was aqua. Three seater and on each end, it reclines but you would never know. These seats go all the way back to almost flat. Don’t hit the wall either. Then, there was a matching recliner chair that I bought that also rocks. So…I called her name across this football field sized room…but, she said…NO MOM…I WANT THIS SOFA…I begged her to come…and finally she did and freaked out. She was thrilled. OH…and I bought them a CHROME, not brass…but chrome bed. Their bedroom is done in black and white with mirrored side tables and assesories. Curtains are black and white chandelier patterns. Really hip. I bought pillows and other assesories…and my gift so that her hubby’s old and dirty college furniture would not be their only choice. He freaked out when he heard that there are 3 recliners. HAHA…and his birthday was yesterday…and I sent him a Grill shaped like a football that is his favorite college team. How about that? So…he is so excited to get home. This really helped them out…and he said…”Have an ice cold beer ready and my recliner and the remote.” Oh…and chicken nuggets from Chic-fil-A and he wants her in his lap at the same time. Too funny.
So, she has all kinds of recipes and her main things to start out…like dishes, glasses, cooking stuff…another guest room with her old bed in it which is an antique french bed…new sheets and just enough of everything. He will feel like he is walking into heaven. From sleeping on the ground or in tents stuffing clothes into a pillowcase for a pillow…hot as fire…100 degrees…no place for a hot shower until he hit Europe. To…….all of this? He even has his own bathroom…fixed all manly. Brown suede shower curtain…towels to match. Just the bomb. She paid the same as many other apts that are half the size…with 2BR and 2Baths…not bad. We took her chandeliers and all her furniture like her armoir and etc…so, they are set.
I just hope that it is the most wonderful day of both of their lives. I was going to go…but, you can’t get a hotel…all gone and NO WAY am I staying in their extra BR…time for romance and NO Mother in the other room…hahahahaha…I will see them in 2 weeks on his leave.
Tomorrow morning…I am cutting the yellow ribbon off the big old oak tree. God is good. I just hope he stays at least a year without having to go to war again. I’m not thinking about it. Too much good to think about.
Sorry to get off subject…but I have a few questions to ask.
1. If you had Taylor to sign hats for a charity…and you sent them back with someone, possibly the merch guy…and when they got back to you…there was ONE missing. Would you:
a) Not worry about it…and appreciate him signing them at all because he was about to go out and sing his heart out at a concert and did all this for free and had NO obligation to sign anything for anyone?
b) Sit there and sulk and cry…throwing a tantrum?
c) Freak out and use the F bomb over and over…calling him every name in the book…demanding that the hat be found, even though you got front row seats as a perk…you wouldn’t even look at Taylor during the concert and stared down (as if he would even notice you) to retaliate against him and stay pissed off for months.
THAT SAME DAY:
2. If you were all of a sudden directed to go into a room where all of Taylor’s band was hanging out before the concert while the missing hat was being looked for because you had to have it after having a fit in rage…Would you:
a) Feel extremely uncomfortable, sit in the corner and want to leave, feel out of place and insecure?
b) Be thrilled to be there!!!?
c) Sit in amazement and listen to him and feel excited, like the fly on the wall that anyone would want to be?
Well…someone answered these questions…and the first one…they answered B and C and the second one…answered A
I can tell you that IF Taylor took the time out of his day…to do something for nothing…as busy as he was right before his concert…I would have been honored that he even signed one. I would also think he might have kept a cap for himself or maybe one of the band members. What an honor if so. I also would have been so thrilled to be in the room with the guys…listening to them prepare for the concert, listening to them cut up and joke around…and might have had to jump on Loren Gold. HAHAHAHAHA! Just curious.
CBB,The apartment sounds baeutiful and having him home to occupy it with her makes it perfect. You have been very generous to them with all the wonderful things you have bought them. Nothing like a smile on your child’s face to warm the heart. I wish them all the best!!!

If I had done either B or C in question one I would have definately done A from the second question because I would feel like an ass that I behaved like that.

Yes, ladies, now I’m broke. HAHA…I have spent too much. My daughter’s dad did not come to the plate. F’ing loser. That’s ok…I have worn the pants for years and wear them quite well. CBB, I can’t believe anyone could/would do that to anyone that is giving of themselves. I could see saying something if many items were missing but not just for one. You can see by my questions over at Chill’s that I wasn’t sure if this poster was with the admin or not. You guys have been great getting me in the loop. I also can’t believe Chill’s was called a bashing site, OMG, everyone there is pro Taylor never question just support his choices. Explaining to those who don’t know to me is not bashing you guys all have histories with some of these folks us “newbies” just don’t know who is who and where they fit in within the fanbase. It is unbelievable to me how some of these people treat Taylor. I used to think it was exaggerated. I was wrong.
I have some reasons to believe that part of the decision making process that went in to doing Grease was to escape some of these people. Only a small part of the reasons , but very possibly one of them.

I know this is going to be long but I hope people will take the time to read, look for themselves and think about it. I have a lot more “looking” to do.
Well, having a little more time this evening, I decided to take a little more indepth look at the troop drive banner on Taylors myspace. The thought had occured to me today that maybe some of the proceeds from various things were going to charity. But no, I guess the only charity involved would be the cd’s going to the troops.
I’ll say one thing , if Taylor is being well paid for all the personal advertising for the troop drive peoples business OR being paid some of the money that people would be paying them for running their advertisments, then great, I think its just fine and dandy. BUT if all he is receiving is the proceeds from the whopping 167 CDs that have been sent to the troops then I think he is being taken. But surely he knows what he is doing.
Purple works with some good people, some that have nothing but the good they can do in mind I would imagine, but I saw ads for jewelry, ads for childrens clothing, ads for books and more, and I didn’t see anything that said my soul patrol money would not be welcomed if I chose to purchase something. And I don’t know what difference that makes anyway.
Now there were quite a few Taylor Hicks cds delivered back in the day, but it seems The Distance is going more slowly. And now I see why there was going to be a newsletter about marketing Taylor Hicks (one I never got by the way), It would be because marketing Taylor Hicks includes the marketing of jewelry, childrens clothing, books and etc. Those are ads on the site and someone is being paid for those ads. And someone is advertising their own business.
Is Taylors myspace being paid for all these ads? Maybe so. We shall see.
And even tho we are on part 6 of the troop drive only 167 soldiers have benefited. If thats all the good Taylor is getting out of it, it ain’t much. I think I could do better going door to door in my home town.
And see, no hate, no bashing, no name calling, just some food for thought.

Well well…henry…you are soooooooo on the right track. I used to TRY to discuss this same issue on a forum that I detest…and don’t know how it is still in exsistence. Except for the begging of monies. I always got jumped on…there was never an explanation. Just took defensive tactics against my questioning them…they don’t like questions or anyone doubting them. So many people were buffalo’d…they did not “get it”…I found it deplorable that anyone would benefit from their advertising of their own personal business. This was including the meow person. Once you start stepping on their toes…they go bizerk. Talk about dual personalities. From all nice and send in your donations/cds/etc and all about the cause to……….FREAK OUT CUSS OUT. I got pms that would make your hair stand on end. You are not allowed to rock the boat. I know certain things for FACT. Anyone that used Taylor for personal gain…or to get close to him were slime in my opinion. I have a tendancy to say what I think. They don’t put up with that. Banning me was part of a strategy…get rid of her, she knows too much. I even started asking the administration certain questions about lots of different things…like WHO pays them because I thought it ridiculous that Chris Daughtry was celebrated on a Taylor Hicks Soul Patrol fansite. You were not allowed to say anything about him other than praise…or you were threatened with being banned or you were deleted. BUT…Taylor could be chopped up into tiny pieces like a jigsaw puzzle…and when I complained…I was deleted…and again…told I would be banned, that those people had a right to their opinion. So…with a curious mind…I knew that when I had asked those questions in private messages to admin…and got this answer…”It is none of your business”. Well…I got it then. So many hated the word…Sabatoge. I consider it a true and profound statement of what was going on. Someone was paying them to keep CDaughtry from being bashed…and they could not have cared less if Taylor got the heave-ho. The reason? MONEY. SO much that went on behind closed doors. You know about the little private mod blogs…where they talked about the fan members. Lots of things were going on. Look, Adora told me she was never into Taylor. Why did she have a fansite then? The latter I say VERY lightly, because CBB and I know for fact that there is one existing today that is purely there for the MONEY and a place for the TROLLS to live. Its sad, its very sad. IF I were TH I would raise hell about MY name being used to make other people money. Its down right criminal. Try asking a few questions to those people and you’ll get an earfull. OMG. Its really been BAD BAD BAD.
JERSEY, I know your new to the goings on within the TH world, but there is a side thats not so good and Taylor has nothing to do with that. You’ve also been on a blog that is part of it. Its not Chills nor here… I think Henry and Cbb were just writing about it. Don’t have to direct this to you CBB, we learned about it through just being concerned Taylor Hicks fans, it got us labeled by those that were out to make some MONEY $$$. – OH and lest I forget? FAME within the fan base? OH yeah.
Lastly, for the record, this SO called letter from TH management? NO WAY. I never saw it, but I can tell you that if it was taken down immediately, it was NOT LEGIT. This reminds me of the seven TH solo concerts CBB and I went to where he was screaming out SOUL PATROL and asking us at the beginning of the concert to CALL and REQUEST MY SINGLE…and at the END of his concert too..So, why was a letter put up at a fansite claiming we weren’t supposed to CALL the stations? LMAO. Conspiracy? Hm.
There have been a small group of women, many of whom we are very well aware of, who act as if they are basically working FOR Taylor, when they are NOT working for him, they are RUNNING A BUSINESS and they need A BIG DRAW, so they USE Taylor Hicks, his name and his kindness.
They also lie like dogs to get what they want. They are selling products and using HIS name. Both CBB and I asked questions on the official site, the other “official” site, and were treated as if we had asked the worst question in THE world…and that was? “Can you please tell me more about your newsletter – Your magazine – The troup drive and what the goals are – The this…The That.”:…..We were INSULTED…DELETED….CUSSED OUT…and PM’ed by THREE Mods and by said business owners aka “TH fans”..and the language was OBSCENE and it was insulting and VERY scary. Not to us, we are in business, LOL, but to what was going on!!
Hey, we all know that websites have to advertise…well okay…but on a supposed Taylor Hicks Fan site I do NOT, repeat…do NOT want to see DAUGHTRY’S UGLY MUG in my face. I do not want to see American Idols advertisements everywhere. One of these fan sties is gone, its owner admitted to me and CBB that she hated Taylor Hicks. The other “fan site” is still up and running on pushing AI and anything Daughtry, Cook, etc., and ITS owner told ME and CBB that NO, she was NOT a fan of Taylor Hicks. WELL HELL? Why have a fan site then? Who lives on the latter? I think we all know…Those who are pushing their uh *cough* charities and whatever, in honor of TH? In honor? Oh uh,sure, right.
PS: To any of those mentioned who don’t like what I wrote if you come here? Concerned people know. Did you see that? People know. What they don’t know is how you use fake screen names and pretend to be who you are not and how you mistreat the name of Taylor Hicks on blogs like you know what…and on faux “fan sites”. Jeanni, I see alot and can see where things are going quickly. I don’t involve myself in bashing, it bothers me to see everything the guy does ripped apart. He is in this for the long run and he is keeping a steady pace, this industry is not easy. He needs fans that “supoort” his ventures not second guess them. Taylor is a very kind and generous person, no one should be using his name for their own financila gain, thats just wrong. If these folks are asking you donate money, you have every right to ask questions and get answers. If anyone takes offense to questions being asked about donating money the flags would go off for me also, I have a right to know where my money is going and how much is going to the charity and how much you are taking. Not willing to give me that information, I’m not willing to donate.

If any of you want to SUPPORT OUR TROUPS? How about sending a box to the war zones? These guys are out there with nothing and no money and no way to buy anything…not near a store, have ready made food to eat from a pouch and sleep on the f’ing ground. Pee and poop in holes dug…and fight the worst enemies that this world has ever seen. OK? Being shot at constantly and maybe they have no families or friends…lonely and bewildered. Suicides are huge and most of the time…when they get back to our soil. Yes, send a Hicks CD…but also send them goodies, letters, books…When you send from a nearby base…you don’t pay for the boxes…and the shipping is minimal. There are different charges. I sent about 50 boxes…while my men were there…and sent way too much stuff so they could share with other guys that had NOTHING. I sent things that reminded them of home. They need deodorant, toothpaste, toobrushes, chewing tobacco, cigarettes or cigars, to hell with what anyone thinks about tobacco…and send cards…good wishes and thanks to them…inspire them…appreciate them and don’t put a link to something you sell on it…don’t remind others of how YOU make your money while acting like you are doing them a favor. Do it the REAL way. Just one freaking box. OK? Not supposed to be big…just a shoebox size is fine…as they are putting limits on the size of boxes…no stuffed animals or silly things…REAL things…dried fruits, nuts, candy, things that won’t ruin. Do your men proud…and do it without a motive…without benefiting from it. Let’s get real. Get off your easy chair…and walk over to the store and pick out a few things even from the dollar stores…go to the base and send to the troups. If you want to send CDs…send them all your favorite artists…but, the reason they like Taylor is because he is REAL…and they can feel it…they hear it in his voice…and they relate to music that is pleasing. No more false crap…people with excuses and for those that have nothing better to do than to bitch about Taylor’s life…I just gave you something to do…since you have no inspiration on life…and how to do something positive. You might find that giving back is something that might make you happy, make you reflect about what all you have to be grateful for…and you also might take that blasted chip off your shoulders and get real~!
CBB, Been doing that for some time, started when my son’s friend went over and told us of the conditions. The food pantry by us does a drive for the troops in Iraq, they do monthly shipping. I just drop stuff off weekly after grocery shopping.

Honey…haha…when you ask how much is going to the actual charity? This is the answer you get.
WE GIVE 100 PERCENT OF THE PROCEEDS TO THE CHARITY!
Ok…let’s see…what do you think my next question was? Proceeds, huh? That is expenses and those could be up to 90 percent of the money. Most states require…and I believe this is nationwide…that only 10 percent be given to the charity. So…I said…well, how much was that…I even gave a figure…like out of $100.00, how much went to the charity? Guess what kind of an answer I got? The answer was that there would be a report at the end of the year or the next year that would show the details of that as they have to turn it in and it is public record. Ok…so, I asked a question…again…said…just give me a round about figure…60 percent? 40 percent? Their answer…no 100 percent from the proceeds. HOG WASH. Oh…and you have to qualify thru the government to become a charity. You can still do it…without the designation but the people giving monies don’t get a tax deduction. Called a 501 3C………to become a charitible foundation. You have to get approved. Here is a website… http://www.501c3.org that you can visit and see how they do it.
So…………..ultimately…they only have to give 10 cents on the dollar to the charity. THEN, if they are selling stuff…have a link to their business, well, KACHING! Also…some have their own websites and have hits…when they get those hits, they get paid. Oh yea. Are you getting the picture?

Just heard from henry8 that Taylor’s performance is cancelled due to illness and doc won’t let him travel. hmmmmmmmmm….that sounds serious. They did say that they expect him to recover and be at some of the next shows…but it is up in the air. Hope he gets well…gee…and takes care of those vocals!

Hi everyone. Lots of interesting posts. CBB you had a really good idea about sending to the troops. I feel bad for them stuck over there with no access to anything. I bet toothpaste, soap, shampoo, even toilet paper are more appreciated than we ever give thought to. I’m so glad your SIL is back. I bet your daughter and him are enjoying some alone time together and they should.
I got home late last night from visiting with my family. Was in my hometown for a few days. Met up with some old friends that I used to work with 12 years ago. We went out and had a great time. I sure miss my old friends back home. I also visited with my family..got to see all of my sisters and my father, one niece, one nephew, a great nephew..that was it. I went and picked up the new Sims game on my way back. The Sims 3 came out last night at midnight. I’m still trying to figure out how it all works.
I heard Taylor is sick, hope it’s nothing serious and he’ll be back to it soon.

The hospitals around here are packed. Urgent care is packed, which is like a clinic. I have had 4 in my family to be sick as hell. Whew! I escaped it so far. Knock on wood. It is a scarey virus or something. From Bronchitis…to strep…to Pneumonia…all that stuff all connected. Could be some new flu, who knows?

Yes we are celebrating some folks are here, primary’s here never have a big turn out, two seats open his and another Councilman who decided not to run. Little over 600 votes he got 271 the other person got 270 the rest split between the others. Now we just have to get through the general election in Nov, think he should do fine. Oh…BHG…I was in a wedding this last weekend. I had been in a world of hurt with my knee, back and other things…and fortunately, I made it. I looked like doo doo…but, I survived. I haven’t been sent all the photos yet…but, they were pretty darn good…not of me…I break cameras. Oh…and what’s up with this double chin thing I do in photos? huh? I always tuck my chin down and I know not to do it. My daughter was a photographer and took excellent photos of me…and you do have to hold your chin up and it feels weird…and even if you don’t have a double chin…which I thought I didn’t…you look like you do if you don’t pose right. ROFL! Hey…maybe this extra weight has given me this extra chin. Gonna go look in the mirror…if it’s bad…I won’t be back. Going to the first plastic surgeon…in the am. HAHAHAHAHAHA!
CBB, The numbers were the two top winners they were separated by one vote, others had run , but hubby and the other one will be on the Republican ticket in Nov, there is 1 that ran for the Democratic ticket, so Nov there will be 3 vieing for two Council seats. Just checked the County reports have to talk to him I see there were 4 write ins so I don’t know if those will be on the ballots in Nov also. But for the amount of voters that came out he did real well.
I’m sure you looked lovely for the wedding, sometimes those chins sneak up on you!

BHG and Jersey…sent you an email. Ok…talk later…gonna go to Home Depot and buy paint. I am not not not gonna overdo it…but have to refreshen up some areas in my CAVE…hahahahaha…so, I know with all that has been going on with my back/knee and what ever else…gee…even my hands and feet are swollen with veins popping out from this back…doc says it is normal cause he had me on steroids. So…maybe why I have a double chin now. LOL! I will talk later…I LOVE LOVE LOVE TO PAINT! Have my daughter and new hubby just home from war coming in a few weeks and I want to spruce things up. Getting the carpets cleaned professionally…no more of that stuff for me! I am stubborn…Taurus…haha…so, it takes a while to penetrate that until I have surgery…I have to cool it. I have to say though…if I was at a concert hearing Taylor…I would dance my bootie off.
