This is going to be my last blog for a while. I’m going to take a little break. We may start up again at a later date but for now this has been loads of fun. I will leave all of the comments sections open as well as this one if people want to come and post their daily thoughts you are welcome! I had a blast this last year. Taylor Hicks is the Greatest!!

You’ve done an exceptional job of maintaining a really fun Taylor Hicks blog. Those who’ve come here to comment about Taylor and just LIFE in general, have been a pleasure to know. THANK YOU for the time you’ve spent doing this for us all. I can’t even imagine maintaining a blog, even though due to my extreme popularity with the trolls, chrolls, whatever they are and many of the so called TH fans, (cough) made claims I owned a bunch of ‘um. LMAO. NOT. I’m not computer savvy like you BHG!
I suppose it really takes more than one person to maintain something like this FOR sure, especially when said person has a career! Oh Lord, the TIME spent? Of course, talking about Taylor is one of my favorite subjects, wish I could do it 24/7, but in a very positive way, what other way is there, eh?
THOSE of you I’ve met here and at Taylor events, great knowing ALL of you. Taylor is fortunate to have you as fans! I’m sure CBB will be around soon…she’s had her hands full as most of you know.
Glad to see that you may re-open sometime in the future. That’s the great thing about it. I appreciate that. Taylordays, Jersey,Stayingpower and all the rest who came by…You girls are the greatest. You BHG deserve a big trophy for being such a wonderfully patient and kind woman. If I had to put up with all those negative cranks, well, I woulda pulled my hair out, YIKES. ANYWAY, sniff…Thank you for the blog, Its been great. LOVE all of YOU! Won’t forget our time togetherin Atlanta, OH LORDY! Wish I could have spent more time with you. Hello all my lovely friends~! Ya darn right I had my hands full, per Jeanni. I also had this blog frozen on my computer screen last night until today…lol. WTH? Ok…anyway, so sorry I missed Jersey’s Birthday…so, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JERSEY GIRL! Hope you had a blast.
Next…I can understand BHG for your wanting to take time off…and because of your constant devotion to having a place for us Taylor cheerleaders, you probably sacrificed alot of “YOU” time. We have always maintained a high integrity towards Taylor and that means that we have not talked in a negative way about him. That makes us unique. We have always been the ones that supported him in a way that did not allow the naysayers or just to be honest…smartasses to come on board here to spoil the pudding. That I admired in you BHG!!! You are one of a kind and having a relationship with you online was great and yet we will continue to meet at various places.
I also want to say after finally meeting you, BHG, in person was such a pleasure and it felt as if you were a wonderful friend and that we had known each other in the past. That will not change. You are a delightful young woman with a fantastic spirit…and your beauty is not just visible outwardly, but inwardly…you are kind and you love some Taylor Hicks! LOL!
We had alot of fun watching Taylor shake his tailfeathers…hee hee…and found common interests outside of our fanship and a friendship that will last. I hope this “time out” will help you to relax and enjoy doing all you need and want to do…and that you can explore other areas in his fanbase or heck…NOT. ROFL! I know I will see you around though…

Lastly, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that all this time that Taylor became our favorite on AI and his win…victory…his triumph…and his tour, his career changes and then, back to touring for our benefit as well as bringing himself that old passion of performing in intimate settings…has been challenging for his fans, his REAL FANS. We just wanted all along, to enjoy the man, support the man and could not and will not understand why in the hell there are so many nasty and vendictive people. From time to time, I viewed them as psychotic…or evil or maybe just bad people…and I stand here today to say that many have been revealed thru our persistent views which remained our opinions…they wanted to bring us down and him too. Didn’t happen for him…didn’t happen for us. THAT my friends, is a GOOD THING! It’s all good. I think this blog has served many purposes. It was available for all to see but not available for all the those that would have liked to have been negative and to be critical because it serves no purpose. Just honest to goodness “good times” whether it be for Taylor or for ourselves. A place to discuss the weather, our lives or just joke around. Gosh, that’s a compliment, BHG. Thanks! Keeping it real without evil and deliberate motives to try to hurt the guy that brought fans from near and far. TONS and TONS of thudding, how damn much can a man be talked about? Well, he seems to carry that X factor card in his pocket. Bet there are alot that only dream or wish they had it. Problem is, it’s not for sale and you can’t buy it, can’t learn it or steal it. Either you have it…or you don’t. Taylor Hicks has it. He has proven it.
He came, he saw and he conquered. He revealed himself, grew fashionable and respectfully matured, became a star overnight and gave us his all. To that? I toast, Taylor Hicks. Thanks Taylor!

CBB I’m glad you’re back. I hope things are starting to lighten up for you. I’m glad you understand I need a break..just a little overwhelmed and have a lot of things going on. You know I’m not leaving the SP or Taylor behind..I will be posting on the same forum I always did..you can find me there or in a few other places. Talk soon.

Thanks girls! I have had too much Honeybaked Ham. But, the turkey and dressing was good last night! We are dressing the Christmas tree and watching football. Auburn and Alabama…ROLL TIDE!
Jersey…hee hee…yes, there is some romance in the air. I have been wined and dined…now, that’s fun…and going to a ball in the mountains for New Year’s Eve. Romantic lodge…fireplace…and loads of fun! I am just letting things happen as they will. It’s nice to be adored…I forgot what it felt like as I stayed away from it all for years. Anything is possible. I have to be chased…he likes to chase. CBB a trip to a romantic lodge in the mountains sounds like so much fun. We don’t have any snow here yet and I am hoping we don’t get any for a couple of weeks..I have a trip planned in mid December.
Happy Holidays to you too. I think I’ll stick to at home shopping this year. My niece went to the store yesterday, black Friday and she said she tried on a coat put it down in front of her and was putting her own coat back on and then she was going to purchase the coat and some lady took it from her. I guess she had a discussion with her for 20 minutes but got the coat back. My other sister knows a guy who was in line with another guy buying a TV and some woman bit him in the arm..wasn’t even his TV. People are friggen animals this time of year..Sheeesh!!!!

BHG, I did Black Friday once a few years back. Got up 3:00 in the morning, people were at their rudest, would never do it again. For the few bucks you save, for me its just not worth it. A couple of my daughters friends were camping out at Best Buy for computers, they wanted her to come, she said no way, sleep sounds better!!
They are saying we might see some snow on Monday, just hate the thought of it starting.
Thanksgiving was very nice, we went out this year as it is getting to difficult to get my mother-in-law in our houses. We found a resturant with a elevator, it was very nice the food was great. I cooked the family turkey yesterday, long day of cooking but well worth it!!

Jersey congrats to your hubby. That’s great news! We had snow a couple of times here in October so I thought it was going to be a very long winter but it warmed up and has been above average that last few weeks. I hope the warm stays, I hate long cold winters.
BHG, Thanks, he is happy it is over. Not looking forward to the long winter, snow and ice. Love to look at it, but not be out in in it. It is very nice here today, hubby is out hopefully doing the leaves for the last time this season.
Did you guys hear the vid over at the ning site, Taylor got an escort from security out of the game yesterday, it was cute.

Well…snow is romantic to us “southerners”…haha. I imagine that it can be quite difficult at times when it is deep and constant. Ice storms are the worst. We have had our share. I just hate to hear about folks that are trapped in those storms and without power…just pray that doesn’t happen this year. Feel so for those that are elderly or disabled and or stuck…just a tragedy. Also, lots of work to do in just your own driveway. However, it is beautiful! I plan to be a snow angel, never done that. Will send a photo for sure…don’t laugh too hard.
Jersey…I am so pleased to hear about your hubby. You have always been a special lady and I know that your family is right up there in the “Special” department. Therefore, your hubby is one of the good guys and we sure need those!!! I have a dear friend that is a Congressman. He has done me several favors. Just salt of the earth. Love his wife…we cheered together in highschool.
His charisma and honesty was always there from the beginning of our friendship and he hasn’t changed. He sends me mailings and emails all the time. SO special…like your husband. Tell him congratulations! So nice to hear about nice people having nice things to happen to them.
BHG…so glad honey that you haven’t had the snow yet. I am excited about the mountains. We went tonight to an oyster bar…watched GA tech get beat by the GA dawgs…ARGH!
Tech is ranked Number ONE and then this game which was so crappy, was a real dissapointment. Remember that Taylor’s brother went to Tech. My daughter went to a party at Tech where he was…said he was a nice guy.
Just having fun and it feels good to have someone special in my life again. He called me for 2 years and I would not have anything to do with him…but, hey, he was persistant. LOL~ I guess it was like an awakening because we clicked on our first date…and it has been very flattering to hear all the nice things he has to say to me and he means it. Trust me…I have my antenna’s up when it comes to a relationship…but, just can’t find anything negative. Alot of people, including myself, just thought that a NEW relationship would be a hassel…or at least alot of work to get to know them yet, if it’s right…it’s easy. Weird how that works.
Hope the holidays bring many blessings to my lovely friends here. BHG, the first time I met you in person…I knew what a dear and lovely lady your were. You are caring and nurtering…suprised that some man hasn’t snatched you up. Also…you look like a baby. I would have thought you were in your twenties.

CBB I’m so happy for you. I can tell how happy this is making you. We ususally like snow up here too for a day or two but after 6 months of snow, icy roads, having to pay people to come and plow out the driveway because it snows it’s a pain in the ass. I bet the mountains are beautiful with the snow. I know you’ll have such a great time.
I remember when Sean went to Georgia Tech..I wonder if she still lives out there.

We are gonna drop our temps to below freezing in the next few days. Ferns are about dead. Bringing them inside if it’s not too late. Let me know if you are all ok…heard about the white outs and snow drifts…take care lovies.
CBB, We are ok so far, had a couple of inches turned to rain then froze. Other areas of Jersey got hit but it moved further off the coast so we were spared.
Did you guys see the pics Taylor tweeted from WI? Heard they got 17 inches up there, canceled the show last night. Don’t mind the snow as long as I don’t have to go out in it.

CBB we had a nasty storm on Tuesday night. I had to go to work yesterday and there was 3 foot snow drifts behind my car and down my driveway. I didn’t know if I should call in to work or not because I couldn’t reach the guy who said he’d plow me this winter. I finally talked to his wife and they sent their son over to do it and I did make it to work on time. I hate winter!!!! Roads in the southern part of the state were closed which I don’t ever remember happening before..but open again so I leave for my trip today..can’t wait. Hope the interstates are good anyway..and I agree not spinning into the ditch this time.
I hope your ferns are okay, bundle up. I’ll tell you about my vacation when I get back.

BHG, Have a wonderful trip, and be careful. 3 feet, thats alot of snow, the most I remember having was just under 3 feet and that was when I was a kid. The most my kids have seen is about 24-26 inches. We actually went into the 60’s yesterday, today below freezing, just crazy weather.
